According to reports, the night before the couple’s live performance, Chris Brown and Rihanna had an argument with each other which quickly turned ugly as Chris beat up Rihanna badly in a fit of anger. The physical assault left the beloved ‘Umbrella’ singer with a swollen face and a black eye in the hospital.

The prosecution found Chris Brown guilty of molesting his partner and Chris accepted the just punishment. He was sentenced to five years of probation and community service.
