Who Is Naomi Watts?
Naomi Ellen Watts was born on 8 September 1968 in Shoreham Kent, England. When she was 18 years old, she decided to become a model.
She grew interested in Buddhism during the shooting of the movie ‘the painted veil’ (2006) and converted to a Buddhist.
In 2016, Naomi became honorary president of a small football club in Malltraeth, Wales called Glantraeth F.C. and as a child she used to go to her grandparent’s farm and play there, which is near Wales.
David Lynch started hiring actors for his psychological thriller Mulholland Drive in 1999. Not seeing any of Watts’ prior work, he conducted a meeting with her based solely on her ‘headshot’ and extended a proposal for the leading role.
Later, Lynch referred to his choice of Watts as, “I saw someone that I felt had a tremendous talent, and I saw someone who had a beautiful soul, an intelligence—possibilities for a lot of different roles, so it was a beautiful full package.”

She dated Australian actor Heath Ledger from August 2002 to May 2004. The relationship lasted for two years.
The next year 2005, he started dating an American actor Liev Schreiber. It was the longest relationship she was in. The couple at Met Gala 2005 and Naomi invited him to the after party and where things started.
She had two children with Liev. Naomi and Liev together welcomed their first child, son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete in 2007. They welcomed their second son Samuel Kai in 2008.
Unfortunately, the couple broke their 11 years relationship on 26 September 2016. The ex–couple stated, “Over the past few months we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple, it is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.”
Since 2017, she has been in a relationship with American actor, Billy Crudup after she met him on the set of the Netflix series, ‘Gypsy’. She said that she feels comfortable in this relationship and it was not affecting her co-parenting.
On February 2018, the couple made their public debut in London, holding hands during leaving the Vogue BAFTA after-party. On February 2022, the couple made their red carpet debut and she supported Crudup at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
