Bella Hadid suffers from Lyme Disease since 2014. The model took it to Instagram where she posted a photo of her diagnosis results. She has been suffering from the disease for the past 10 years. Bella has always opened up about her struggles. She was subjected to severe joint pains, fatigue, rashes, and irritation, all of which are symptoms of the disease. The model penned down a heartfelt note on Instagram, thanking her medical professionals and her mother.
However, her condition worsened in March 2023. The model stated that she had developed a low-grade infection underneath her tooth. Which caused her pain and inflammation. Due to this, Bella has decided to step back from work for some time. As she wants to focus on her health and getting better. In the Instagram post, Hadid stated that it has been 15 years of invisible suffering, 100+ days of Lyme, and chronic conditions.
Hadid also revealed her profound gratefulness to the doctors who are treating her. “To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was quite possibly the most confusing thing ever,” she said. “Iāll be back when Iām ready, I miss you all so much, I love you all so much” captioned Hadid.
